The 2009 show season terminated with a magnificent event for Polish horse breeding. In the World Championship Finals 9 Polish horses competed for titles for their Polish home studs. Furthermore, there were 4 horses bred in Michałów Stud, who represented their current owners' or leasers' stables. As far as the number of finalists is concerned - Polish breeders have no equals!
The Senior Finals must have made a remarkable impression, with the spectacular parade of Polish bred mares. The unmatched Monogramm's daughters would  probably never have met in one class, if it hadn't been for the Pride of Poland auction, where they had been purchased by their current owners. In their new colours they had the opportunity to defend their old titles and to compete for new ones. We watched this competition with bated breath and with silent pride.
In one line with the mares representing Poland – EMANDORIA, PALMETA, GEORGIA and EMMONA, some of the unforgettable Pride of Poland stars entered the competition: KWESTURA – representing Ajman Stud, FALLADA – representing Belgium, ELANDRA – representing Halsdon Arabians, UK.
Clearly, KWESTURA was the brightest of all stars. She came there for the World Champion crown, as if it had already been hers. She is the only mare in history who has been awarded this title twice in the same age category. This makes our joy and gratitude to Ajman Stud for the opportunity to see this mare in such an outstanding shape even greater.

The most magnificent moments of the World's Championships with Polish bred horses are available at our Gallery, and the full list of successes in the world's show arenas is to be found in the bookmark Success 2009.

Congratulations to the winners!
